As of July 20, the number of Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD) cases in Malaysia increased almost 50% to 34,670 cases, compared with the same period last year. China Press reported the Health Ministry as saying that there had been a spike in HFMD cases in all states, except for Sarawak.
